Replacing Mantle Affiliates: five tools for Shopify app developers
Mantle set August 14, 2026 as the end of its affiliate program tools, or September 30 for Mantle Billing accounts, and names four alternatives: Shoffi, PartnerDock, Affilitrak and Orbit. PartnerJam is a fifth built for the same job. Here they are side by side, from what each one publishes on October 31, 2026, with how to move your program. Luseri does not run affiliate programs, so we have nothing to sell here. We did not test these tools.

To pay your affiliates, Affilitrak automates payouts by PayPal, PartnerDock is manual on its free plan with a PayPal file from $19, and Orbit works with PayPal, Stripe, RazorpayX and Mollie. Shoffi and PartnerJam do not detail it on the pages we read.
These are each vendor's own descriptions. Some facts are disputed: LetsMetrix writes that Affilitrak's marketplace fee is 20%, while its page for apps gives no figure, and Orbit's price has varied from page to page. Ask before you commit.
How to choose
- You have your own affiliates and want to keep their links at no cost: Affilitrak, which says it is built on Mantle's tracking and stays free for your own affiliates.
- You want someone to do the move for you: PartnerDock's free call, or Orbit's migration support.
- You want new affiliates to find you: Shoffi or Affilitrak for their marketplaces, or PartnerJam's Growth plan.
- Your affiliate revenue is large: check Shoffi's caps against your numbers, since its plans rise with what affiliates earn you, while PartnerDock's price depends on the number of apps.
- You also run partnerships with agencies or lead providers: Orbit is the broadest of the five, and the least specific to apps.
Moving your program
Mantle's own guide gives these steps. Its dates have passed, so some may no longer be possible: Mantle writes that it keeps data for 30 days after your end date, and that after August 14 it offers no way to pay anyone.
- Export your data from Mantle, if you still can. It sends three CSV files by email: affiliates, referrals and payouts.
- Set up the new tool and move your affiliates first, so that new referrals track and pay out there.
- Turn off auto payouts in Mantle after the cutover.
- Clear pending commissions. If Mantle can no longer pay them, pay them yourself from your export. PartnerDock says its import carries unpaid balances forward.
- Re-create ongoing deals on the new tool, such as lifetime or multi-month commissions. The referrals export shows which customers belong to which affiliate.
Exports may not capture every detail of your commission rules. PartnerDock suggests noting your default rate, the type of commission, special terms for some affiliates, your payout threshold, and which month each multi-month commission has reached.
Your existing affiliate links
Mantle links look like apps.shopify.com/your-app?mref=affiliate-code. They point at your App Store listing, so they keep opening it whatever happens to Mantle. What can be lost is the attribution: knowing which affiliate brought which install.
Affilitrak and PartnerDock both say these links keep working. PartnerDock says it reads the mref parameter through Google Analytics 4 and keeps each affiliate's original code, which supposes you have Google Analytics connected to your listing. For the other three, ask before you move, otherwise you will have to send your affiliates new links.
Where Luseri fits
Luseri does not track affiliates or pay commissions. It shows your revenue, retention, reviews and App Store rank, and it can read your listing's traffic from Google Analytics.
