Prys vs Luseri
Prys presents itself as a growth platform for Shopify apps. It joins your listing's Google Analytics, exported to BigQuery, with your Shopify Partners data, so each keyword and each traffic source leads to the merchants who pay, then turns that into App Store optimization, ads on Google and the Shopify App Store, email flows and benchmarks. It grew out of Convert2x, a growth agency for Shopify apps founded in 2018, and is published by PRYS.IO LTD in Tel Aviv. Luseri covers revenue and App Store data too, with a different focus. Here is what each does, as described on their sites on October 21, 2026.

Where Prys is stronger
- Revenue by keyword and by source: Prys joins your listing's GA4 export in BigQuery to your Partners data, so each search term, channel and campaign shows the installs, subscribers, paying customers, LTV and churn it brought. Its customer list carries the source and keyword of every merchant, with segments, a timeline and notes.
- Keyword choice with data you cannot see on your own: Potency weighs each keyword's quality for your app against its volume and difficulty, measured across more than 500 connected apps, and monthly suggestions point to terms that gained value. Luseri gives no volume or difficulty.
- AI listing copy: Prys AI audits your listing against the keywords you target, writes the name, subtitle, description and bullets within Shopify's limits, fixes weak keywords until the score suits you, translates the copy into other languages and exports it to Google Sheets. Prys calls this App Store SEO and AEO, because, it says, the same listing feeds Sidekick, Google and AI answers.
- Paid acquisition: Shopify App Store ads by keyword and by country, with the keywords to add, raise or lower and what each visit is worth, so you know how much to bid; install, subscribe and paying values sent to Google Ads; and a snippet that keeps the ad click when you send traffic through your own website or landing page. Its Meta integration is described on its own page, and marked "Coming soon" on its home page.
- Email flows to your merchants: welcome on install, trial follow-up and win-back after an uninstall, sent from your own domain and measured on the subscriptions, payments and reinstalls they bring.
- Benchmarks: each funnel step and 25 KPIs set against the average and the top quartile of apps in your niche. Its public 2026 benchmarks, drawn from more than 400 active apps, put the average visit-to-paying rate at 2.12% and the top quartile at 3.41%.
- A detailed site: a page for each of its twelve features, and nine guides signed by its co-founder Boaz Lantsman, published on July 1, 2026 and updated on September 28.
- Team roles (Admin, Manager, Viewer for all apps or for one), and Convert2x, the agency behind Prys, if you would rather have the work done for you.
- Its whole price list is published and set by your MRR, so you know today what you would pay as you grow: free under 1,000 dollars, then from 49.95 dollars a month, with a 30-day free trial of Premium. An annual plan costs nine months for twelve and keeps your price while your MRR grows. Luseri is free for now and has not published paid plans.
- A product already in use: its home page counts more than 500 Shopify apps on Prys.
Where Luseri differs
- Your App Store listing is in the dashboard: reviews and rating over a year, category rank recorded daily, up to six competitors side by side, a log of changes to your listing and theirs, and your position on up to 20 keywords you choose, with your competitors' positions, read every day. Prys's site does not mention tracking reviews or competitors.
- Retention is read by install cohort, next to the reasons merchants give Shopify when they uninstall. Prys shows churn by source and by keyword, and does not mention cohorts or uninstall reasons.
- Listing traffic is read straight from your Google Analytics 4 with viewer access, without a BigQuery export or a Google Cloud project to set up. It shows the App Store searches that brought each visit, with the position your app held, by country and by language. Prys's help center says it reaches GA4 data only through BigQuery, with no backfill: its data starts on the day the export starts.
- An AI assistant inside the dashboard answers your questions from your own numbers and suggests what to do next. It runs on Claude, a model made by Anthropic, and you do not need an API key of your own. Prys AI writes and fixes your listing copy; its pages do not describe an assistant that answers questions about your metrics.
- Optional in-app tracking adds a health score for each store, and an email alert warns you when uninstalls rise sharply, next to a weekly report. Prys's site does not mention alerts.
- Cash collected is shown apart from MRR, in the currency Shopify pays you.
- The dashboard is available in English and in French. Prys's site is in English.
- A read-only MCP server opens your numbers to your own AI assistant (Claude, Cursor, VS Code or another) with a personal token. Prys's site does not mention MCP access.
Which one to choose
Choose Prys if you want to know which keyword and which channel bring merchants who pay, to run Shopify App Store or Google ads on that value, to send email flows to your merchants, to compare each step of your funnel with your niche, or to have AI write and translate your listing, and you are ready to set up the BigQuery export. Choose Luseri if you want your App Store listing, your competitors and your reviews next to your revenue, your retention and the reasons merchants leave, to read listing traffic without BigQuery, to ask questions about your numbers inside the dashboard, or to work in French. Other tools are compared in the overview of Shopify app analytics tools.
Questions
- Is Prys free?
- Under 1,000 dollars of Shopify MRR, yes, according to its pricing page on October 21, 2026: the free plan covers analytics, your core revenue and KPIs. Premium adds App Store SEO, ads, the funnel and email flows, tied to revenue by keyword. Its price follows your MRR: 49.95 dollars a month up to 10,000 dollars, 99.95 up to 20,000, 199.95 up to 50,000, 299.95 up to 100,000, and 499.95 above. Every plan includes a 30-day free trial of Premium, and its help center says an annual plan costs nine months for twelve and locks your price at your current MRR.
- Do I need BigQuery to use Prys?
- Yes, for your listing traffic and everything tied to keywords. Its help center says services like Prys can reach GA4 data only through BigQuery, that there is no backfill, and that data starts flowing once GA4 is linked to BigQuery in a Google Cloud project. Most apps stay within Google Cloud's free tier, it adds, and larger ones may pay Google some fees. Its Mantle page notes that BigQuery keeps about 60 days of raw data by default. Its home page adds that full attribution needs store IDs in BigQuery; without them, Prys matches installs with its own algorithm, "around 80% accurate". Luseri reads your Google Analytics 4 directly, with viewer access, and shows listing views, Install clicks, confirmed installs and the App Store searches that brought each visit.
- Does Prys track App Store rankings, reviews or competitors?
- Its App Store SEO page says Prys tracks your rank by keyword and by category over time, and ties each ranking keyword to the installs and revenue it brings. Its site does not mention reviews, competitor tracking or listing changes on October 21, 2026. Luseri follows your reviews and rating, your category rank every day and up to six competitors, and your position on up to 20 keywords you choose, with the position of the apps you watch, read every day among the first 192 App Store search results.
- Does Prys use AI?
- Yes, on its site on October 21, 2026. Prys AI audits your listing against the keywords you target and gives a score, then writes every field (name, subtitle, description, bullets) within Shopify's character limits, with a Fix button for weak keywords, an assistant to refine a field, translation into other languages and an export to Google Sheets. Prys also sends conversion values to Google Ads, so that Google's own AI bids toward merchants who pay. Its pages do not describe an assistant that answers questions about your metrics. Luseri has an assistant in the dashboard that answers questions from your app's numbers (revenue, merchants, retention, uninstall reasons, reviews, rank, competitors, listing traffic) and suggests what to do next. It runs on Claude, by Anthropic, and you do not need an API key of your own. It also has a read-only MCP server, so your own AI assistant can read the same numbers with a personal token.
- Where do Prys's benchmarks come from?
- From the apps connected to Prys, aggregated and anonymized, according to its site. Its 2026 benchmark guide uses more than 400 active apps and compares the average app with the top quartile: 2.12% against 3.41% of App Store visitors who become paying customers, and a monthly customer churn of 8.95% against less than 4.69%. Its help center says conversion benchmarks average all connected apps with a conversion rate above 0%. Luseri shows your own numbers, without benchmarks against other apps.
- Is Luseri free?
- Yes, for now. Its terms of use say: "Luseri is free for now. If it becomes paid, you will be told by email at least 30 days before, and nothing will be charged without your consent."
- Can I use both at the same time?
- Yes. They reach the same sources in different ways: Prys reads your Google Analytics 4 through BigQuery and your Shopify Partners data, while Luseri reads Google Analytics 4 as a viewer and your Partner account through an API client you create, which it only reads.
