AppJubilee vs Luseri

AppJubilee is a keyword tool for the Shopify App Store. It reads the search results of about 1,200 keywords every day, finds on its own the ones your app ranks for, and watches the apps that compete with you on them. It reads nothing about your revenue. Luseri tracks fewer keywords, and adds your revenue, the merchants who leave and why, and an assistant that answers from your numbers. Here is what each does, as described on their sites on October 21, 2026.

Where AppJubilee is stronger

  • Keyword discovery: every day it reads the full search results for about 1,200 keywords, and finds by itself the ones your app ranks for, with no list to build and no limit per app. You can add your own keywords too. Luseri follows up to 20 keywords that you choose.
  • Keyword research: the keywords where competitors rank and you do not, each rated Easy, Medium or Hard, and "Core Keywords", those that 40% or more of your competitors rank for. Its help center also mentions estimated search volume tiers, built from anonymized data pooled across its users. Luseri gives no volume, no difficulty and no suggestions.
  • Paid placements: sponsored positions are stored apart from organic ones, and its Ads Intelligence, from the Growth plan, shows which apps advertise on which keywords and their estimated share of voice. An app counts as advertising on a keyword once it holds a sponsored slot for more than 3 days.
  • History from the first day: AppJubilee has been reading the App Store since before you sign up, so past rankings are there at once ("90+ days", by its count). In Luseri, a keyword's history starts the day you add it.
  • Listing changes measured: snapshots of the title, short and full description, pricing plans, screenshots and icon, for your app and the apps you watch, compared side by side, with the ranking moves that followed each change. It also shows how your rankings moved in the 7 days after each review.
  • Competitor watch: competitors are mapped automatically from the keywords you share, and alerts reach you within 24 hours when one changes its listing or its prices, outranks you or gets a surge of reviews.
  • Free tools without an account: the AJ Score, a 0 to 100 audit of any listing built from five measures of its search visibility; a keyword research tool with the top 5 apps for any keyword, their 7-day history and a volatility score; a public directory with the top 10 keywords of each app and the top 20 apps of each keyword; and a yearly Shopify App Store report.
  • Plans for portfolios, priced in advance: from 29 dollars a month for one app to 499 dollars for 30 apps and 10 team members on Agency, with API access on that plan, whatever your revenue. Luseri is free for now and has not published paid plans.
  • A blog of about a hundred posts on App Store search (102 in its sitemap), the latest dated September 25, 2026.

Where Luseri differs

  • Revenue from your Partner account: monthly recurring revenue and what moves it (new subscribers, plan changes, cancellations, returns), cash collected shown apart in its own currency, and one page per store. AppJubilee reads only daily install and uninstall counts, and its help center says it does not access your revenue or merchant details.
  • Retention is read by install cohort, next to the reasons merchants give Shopify when they uninstall, and an email alert warns you when uninstalls rise sharply. AppJubilee's alerts are about rankings, reviews and competitors.
  • An AI assistant answers your questions from your own numbers and suggests what to do next. It runs on Claude, a model made by Anthropic, and you do not need an API key of your own. AppJubilee's site does not mention AI.
  • Your Partner account and Google Analytics 4 connect on every Luseri account. AppJubilee connects them from its Growth plan, at 99 dollars a month.
  • Your category rank is recorded every day, and optional in-app tracking adds a health score for each store. AppJubilee's pages describe neither.
  • Your app's data is used only to show you your numbers, and is shown to no other account, according to Luseri's privacy policy. AppJubilee's terms let it combine the data you connect (Google Analytics, Partner account, keywords) with other users' data, anonymized, to build figures shared across the platform, such as estimated search volumes.
  • The dashboard is available in English and in French. AppJubilee's site is in English.
  • A read-only MCP server opens your numbers to your own AI assistant (Claude, Cursor, VS Code or another) with a personal token. AppJubilee's site does not mention MCP access.

Which one to choose

Choose AppJubilee if App Store search is your main channel and you want to discover keywords, see who advertises on them and measure the effect of each listing change, for one app or a portfolio. Choose Luseri if you want your revenue, the reasons merchants leave and your listing traffic next to your keyword positions, with an assistant that answers from your numbers. The two overlap little: both only read your accounts, so you can run them side by side. To work on keywords by hand, see Shopify App Store keyword research; other tools are compared in the overview of Shopify app analytics tools.

Questions

How much does AppJubilee cost?
Its pricing page on October 21, 2026 lists four plans, each with unlimited keywords and competitors per app: Starter at 29 dollars a month (1 app, 1 app on close watch, 1 team member, 90 days of history), Growth at 99 dollars (3 apps, with Ads Intelligence and the Partner and Google Analytics connections), Pro at 199 dollars (8 apps) and Agency at 499 dollars (30 apps, API access). Each starts with a 14-day trial, and its help center says yearly billing saves about 17%. Its pages disagree on some details: the help center describes a free plan that the plan table does not show and that its terms rule out, and it says both that a card is needed to start the trial and that it is not.
Does AppJubilee track revenue?
No. On the Growth plan and above, it connects to your Shopify Partner account to read your daily install and uninstall counts for each app, and set them against your ranking changes. Its help center says it does not access your revenue data, merchant information or any other Partner account details. Luseri reads your revenue from your Partner account: MRR and what moves it, cash collected, retention by install cohort and the reasons merchants give when they uninstall.
How many keywords does AppJubilee track?
Its methodology page describes a curated list of about 1,200 App Store keywords, each read once a day across all result pages, with organic and paid positions stored apart. The keywords your app ranks for are found automatically among them, with no limit per app on any plan, and you can add your own. Luseri follows your position on up to 20 keywords you choose, and the position of the apps you watch, read every day among the first 192 App Store search results.
Does AppJubilee use AI?
Its site does not present any feature as AI on October 21, 2026, and it does not mention any MCP access for AI assistants. Its review analysis sorts reviews into 8 topics each week, without saying how. Luseri has an assistant in the dashboard that answers questions from your app's numbers (revenue, merchants, retention, uninstall reasons, reviews, rank, competitors, listing traffic) and suggests what to do next. It runs on Claude, by Anthropic, and you do not need an API key of your own. It also has a read-only MCP server, so your own AI assistant can read the same numbers with a personal token.
Is Luseri free?
Luseri is free for now, while it welcomes its first users. Its terms say that if it becomes paid, you will be told by email at least 30 days before, and nothing will be charged without your consent. AppJubilee's plans start at 29 dollars a month, after a 14-day trial.
Can I use both at the same time?
Yes. AppJubilee starts from your app's public listing, and only reads your Partner account and Google Analytics if you connect them. Luseri connects to your Shopify Partner account through an API client you create, and only reads it.
