Ranksy vs Luseri

Ranksy presents itself as a Mantle alternative. Its founder describes a tool that began with App Store keywords and grew into a full analytics platform: it ties each keyword to the merchants who pay, keeps a record of every merchant with tasks and automations, sends ad conversions to Meta and opens your data to AI assistants through MCP. Luseri covers revenue and App Store data too, with a different focus. Here is what each does, as described on their sites on October 21, 2026.

Where Ranksy is stronger

  • Revenue by keyword: Ranksy joins your listing's GA4 export in BigQuery to Partner API revenue, so each keyword and channel shows the installs, trials, paying merchants and MRR it brought, and each merchant record names the search that found the store.
  • A merchant CRM built for follow-up: a health score from 0 to 100 that says why it fell, tags, notes and saved views, with tasks on a shared board and ten ready-made rules, among them a failed charge, a trial about to end, falling health and a low review.
  • Unlimited keywords and followed apps on both plans, with organic and sponsored positions stored apart, an email the morning after a move of 5 places or more, and a view of every keyword your app already appears for.
  • Competitor watch every hour on name, subtitle, description, screenshots, pricing plans, categories and Built for Shopify status, with the keywords you are missing, the keywords they advertise on and a daily check for listings that copy yours.
  • Paid acquisition: your App Store ad positions and spend next to the revenue those installs brought, and install, trial and payment events sent to Meta's Conversions API so its campaigns learn from merchants who pay.
  • An affiliate program, with commission rules, a referral link per app, a portal for affiliates and payout records. Access is on request.
  • AI help on the listing: drafts of the name, subtitle, introduction, details and features within Shopify's character limits, built from the keywords you are losing (20 AI generations a month on Starter, 100 on Studio), and an AI analysis of what merchants complain about in competitors' reviews.
  • A much wider MCP server: more than 80 tools let Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code read your rankings, revenue and merchants, and add notes, tags and tasks, where Luseri's 3 tools only read. A REST API and a command-line tool cover your scripts.
  • Alerts in Slack or Google Chat, and daily or weekly digests by email.
  • Team access: teammates invited by email, with Admin, Member, Finance or Viewer roles.
  • A published price set by the number of apps, not by your revenue: Starter at 39 dollars a month for 3 apps and Studio at 89 dollars for 10, every feature on both, with a 7-day trial and no credit card. Its removed-review export, its weekly App Store email and its Chrome extension are free.
  • A product already in use: its home page counts 333 teams running 432 apps on October 21, 2026.

Where Luseri differs

  • An AI assistant inside the dashboard answers your questions from your own numbers and suggests what to do next. It runs on Claude, a model made by Anthropic, and you have no API key to provide. If you prefer your own assistant, a read-only MCP server opens your numbers to it too. Ranksy answers questions only through the assistant you connect yourself over MCP (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code), within 5,000 or 25,000 tool calls a month.
  • Listing traffic is read straight from your Google Analytics 4 with viewer access, without a BigQuery export or a Google Cloud project to set up. It shows the App Store searches that brought each visit, with the position your app held, by country and by language. Ranksy needs the BigQuery export for traffic, keyword revenue and install sources.
  • Your Partner API client only needs the "Manage apps" permission, as the Partner API guide explains. "View financials" stays optional, for apps that sell annual plans. Ranksy's setup guide requires both, and "View financials" also allows two writes: cancelling a merchant's subscription and giving a store a credit. Ranksy says it never modifies your Shopify data.
  • The dashboard is available in English and in French. Ranksy's site and documentation are in English.

Which one to choose

Choose Ranksy if you want to see which keyword brings paying merchants, to follow up with merchants through a CRM, tasks and rules, to run an affiliate program or Meta campaigns, or to track many keywords and competitors and act on them from your own AI assistant, with notes, tags and tasks. Choose Luseri if you want to ask questions about your numbers and get advice inside the dashboard, to read listing traffic without setting up BigQuery, to give your Partner account the narrowest access, or to work in French. Both read your Partner account without changing it, so you can try them side by side. Other tools are compared in the overview of Shopify app analytics tools.

Questions

Does Ranksy have a free plan?
No. Its pricing page on October 21, 2026 lists two plans with every feature: Starter at 39 dollars a month for 3 apps and Studio at 89 dollars for 10 apps. They differ in monthly limits: 20 or 100 AI generations, 5,000 or 25,000 MCP calls, and as many API calls. The 7-day free trial runs at Studio's limits and needs no credit card, and annual billing costs 10 months instead of 12. Its removed-review export, its weekly App Store Index email and its Chrome extension are free.
How many keywords can Ranksy track?
As many as you want: its pricing page lists unlimited keywords and unlimited followed apps on both plans. Keyword ranks are recorded every night at 00:15 UTC and category ranks at 00:30 UTC, with organic and sponsored positions stored apart, and by default a move of 5 places or more reaches you by email at 9 am in your time zone. Its documentation adds that a position beyond the top 100 may not be recorded. Luseri follows your position on up to 20 keywords you choose, and the position of the apps you watch, read every day among the first 192 App Store search results.
Does Ranksy have an affiliate program?
Yes, on request. Its founder wrote on Shopify's community forum on October 14, 2026 that the feature would be generally available by the end of that week. On October 21, 2026, its product page and its setup guide, updated that day, still say that access is on request and switched on per team, for Starter and Studio customers, trial included. Ranksy credits an install to an affiliate link clicked in the 7 days before it, works out commissions from Partner API charges, and records the payouts you make yourself by PayPal or bank transfer. Luseri has no affiliate program.
Does Ranksy use AI?
Yes, on its site on October 21, 2026. Five AI agents draft your listing's name, subtitle, introduction, details and features within Shopify's character limits, from the keywords that bring you installs and those where competitors outrank you (20 AI generations a month on Starter, 100 on Studio). It also suggests keywords and features, and analyzes competitors' reviews with AI. Its MCP server lets your own assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code) read your Ranksy data and add notes, tags and tasks. Its pages do not describe an assistant that answers questions inside the dashboard itself. Luseri has an assistant in the dashboard that answers questions from your app's numbers (revenue, merchants, retention, uninstall reasons, reviews, rank, competitors, listing traffic) and suggests what to do next. It runs on Claude, by Anthropic, and you do not need an API key of your own. It also has a read-only MCP server, so your own AI assistant can read the same numbers with a personal token.
Do I need BigQuery to use Ranksy?
For listing traffic, keyword revenue and install sources, yes: Ranksy reads the BigQuery export of your listing's Google Analytics 4 property, which you set up in a Google Cloud project, then share with Ranksy through a Google sign-in or by giving its service account read access. Rankings and competitor tracking need no setup, and revenue, merchants and churn come from the Partner API. Without BigQuery, its listing drafts start from your rankings, your competitors and Shopify's guidelines. Luseri reads your Google Analytics 4 directly, with viewer access, and shows listing views, Install clicks, confirmed installs and the App Store searches that brought each visit.
Can I use both at the same time?
Yes. Both connect to your Shopify Partner account through an API client you create, and only read it. Ranksy's setup guide asks for the View financials and Manage apps permissions; Luseri needs Manage apps alone.
